Tenganan

Tenganan- A small town in Bali that has preserved their culture

Our guide into the town dressed in ceremonial clothes. Tonight is a full moon and full moons are days celebrated with religious ceremonies.

One of the three temples in the town used for ceremonial worship

To celebrate the religious holiday they will have cock fighting. They believe blood must be shed to make the god of fighting happy. This practice is not everyday, just on days of ceremony. This one was painted pink, white is not a lucky color for the fights.
Hanging from the trees are logs, they are filled with bees-this is how they harvest their honey
